Vacation of a Portion of
an alley lying between
Correia's Addition and
Phillips' Addition.

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed an alley vacation
petition submitted by John F. Keegan; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the
alley vacation petition on May 11, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of tIle
public, cooonents from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation from
the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County Planning Commission at
the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the public hearing
that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of the alley and such vacation
complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies
or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson County Road
Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to
RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of the
alley lying between Lot 6 of Block 1 of Correia's Addition to Irondale, recorded in Vol. 3,
Page 8 of Plats, and Lot 6 of Block 1 of Phillips Addition to Irondale, recorded in Vol. 2,
Page 130 of Plats, records of Jefferson County, State of Washington.
