Changing a County Road Name X
From Sam Land Lane to X
Whitetail Lane X
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has received a petition to change the county
road name Sam Land Lane to Elk View Drive or Elk View Lane or Elk View Court as shown on
attached Exhibit "A", pursuant to Jefferson County 911 Ordinance Number 2-0401-91 and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road, and;
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to change this road name, and;
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are similar road names in existence and the
petitioner has submitted new names for consideration as shown on attached Exhibits "B - E";
WHEREAS, a response was received by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office as shown on
attached Exhibit "F" and;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be changed to Whitetail Lane.
