RESOLUTION NO. 17-04
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has acted as the 'pass through' general purpose government
for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), contract number 00-6402-001 to construct
the Child and Family Resource Center, and
WHEREAS, the responsible agency for this project is Jefferson Mental Health Services in
cooperation with Port Townsend and Chimacum School Districts, the Washington State
Department of Social and Health Services, the City of Port Townsend Police Department and
Jefferson County Sheriff s Office, and
WHEREAS, a condition of the CDBG was for Jefferson County to hold title to the real
property and improvements until such time as all the conditions of the grant were fulfilled and the
grant received final close out approval from the Washington State Department of Community,
Trade, and Economic Development, and
WHEREAS, said compliance has been reached and the grant contract has met the final
closeout requirements.
NO W THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the Jefferson County Commissioners hereby
authorize and release any and all interest in real property described as Parcel 65, Volume of
Surveys page 33, Auditors file number 374303, Port Townsend Business Park Planned Unity
Development, Section 9, Township 30 North, Range 1 West, W.M. and any and all improvements
associated therewith to Jefferson Mental Health Services, and directs the Jefferson County
Treasurer to have prepared all necessary documents to transfer said property to Jefferson Mental
Health Services in fulfillment of the tenus and conditions ofCDBG contract #00-6402-001.
