In the Matter of an Inter-fund Loan }
From the Equipment Rental & Revolving Fund }
To the E911 Fund }
RESOLUTION NO. 41-04
WHEREAS, the Emergency 911 center is undergoing a physical remodel that has resulted in
a critical and immediate need to upgrade the main console equipment; and
WHEREAS, the E911 Fund is not projected to have enough cash balance, after the set-
aside for reserves, to pay the estimated $157,000 for the needed console equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the Members of the E911 governing board have committed to pay the increased
cost, but not until the 2005 budget year; and,
WHEREAS, the Equipment Rental & Revolving (ER&R) Fund is projected to have enough
cash balance, after the set-aside for reserves, to provide an inter-fund loan in the amount of
$157,000; and,
WHEREAS, the County Administrator is supportive of this loan,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED, that the Board of Commissioners hereby directs the
Treasurer to transfer $157,000.00 from the ER&R Fund to the 911 Fund as an inter-fund loan. The
Treasurer will assist in the process of the repayment of this inter-fund loan in 2005; the Board of
Commissioners further directs that there will be no interest on the inter-fund loan and that repayment
shall occurs in halves, the first payment to be paid on or before 6/30/2005 and the second payment
to be paid on or before 12/21/2005.
