In the Matter of Closing Out Non-Active
Funds
RESOLUTION NO 57-04
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County has the Brinnon Senior Fund and the Brinnon
Facility Fund; and,
WHEREAS, there has been no activity on the Brinnon Senior Fund and the
Brinnon Facility Fund in over two years; and
WHEREAS, the Brinnon Facility Funds budget has been incorporated into the
Jefferson County Facility Fund; and,
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has deterrninedthat there are no obligations
outstanding against these funds, and their fund balances were transfers from Jefferson
County's General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Treasurer be and is
hereby authorized to transfer funds from the Brinnon Senior Fund # II 0-000-0 I 0 for
$4,674.61, and the Brinnon Facility Fund # 170-000-010 for $14,158.03 to Jefferson County's
General Fund 001-000-000.
BE IT nNALLY RESOLVED that the disclosure for transfers of such funds
shall be made as Residual Equity Transfers on the County's Annual Financial Statements.

Closing Out Non-Active Funds
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Jefferson County's Brinnon Senior and Brinnon Facility Funds have not had any activity in over two
years, and their fund balances have been sitting on the books.
ANALYSIS: In 2002, the Brinnon Facility Fund's budget was incorporated into the Facility Fund, and OlyCAP took over the
administration of the Brinnon Seniors. These two funds were originally subsidized by the General Fund
FISCAL IMPACT: $18,832.64 can go back into the General Fund
RECOMMENDATION: Signing the Resolution and closing these funds.
