In the Matter of Closing Out Non-Active
Funds
RESOLUTION NO 59-04
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County has the Open Space Acquisition Fund; and,
WHEREAS, there has been no activity on the Open Space Acquisition Fund in
over two years; and
WHEREAS, the Open Space Acquisition Fund meets the same criteria as the
Conservation Futures Fund; and,
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has determined that there are no obligations
outstanding against the Open Space Acquisition Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Treasurer be and is
hereby authorized to transfer the cash balance of $19,957.05 from the Open Space
Acquisition Fund to the Conservation Futures Fund 308-000-010.
BE IT FINJl.LLY RESOLVED that the disclosure for transfers of such funds
shall be made as Residual Equity Transfers on the County's Annual Financial Statements.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of November, 2004.

Closing Out the Open Space Acquisition Fund
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Jefferson County's Open Space Acquisition Fund has not had any activity in over two years, and the
fund balance has been sitting on the books.
ANALYSIS: This fund meets the same criteria as the Conservation Futures Fund.
FISCAL IMPACT: $19,957.05 can be moved into the Conservation Futures Fund.
RECOMMENDATION: Signing the Resolution and closing this fund.
