In the Matter of Maintaining a Positive }
Cash Balance for the } RESOLUTION NO. 67-04
Animal Services Fund (129) }
WHEREAS, the Animal Services Fund received $36,000 in cash to provide adequate cash
balances per resolution 73-02; and
WHEREAS, the 2004 Animal Services revenues are now estimated to be about $12,000
lower than expected; and,
WHEREAS, the 2004 Animal Services expenditures cannot be adjusted adequately to
compensate for the lost revenue.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be and is hereby
authorized to transfer monies from the General Fund (001) in the amount of $12,000 to the Animal
Services Fund (129) to replace the shortage in the restricted reserve which will be caused by the
revenue shortfall
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Restricted Fund Balance shall be used to provide
funding to maintain a positive cash balance for said Fund.
ITIS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the disclosure for transfer of such monies shall be made
as an equity Transfer on the County's Annual Financial Statements.
