In the matter of } RESOLUTION NO. 80-04
Resolution for the temporary }
Closure of Upper Hoh Rd. }
WHEREAS, an emergency exists due to flooding caused by severe weather
conditions as declared by Resolution 77-04, December 10, 2004, and;
WHEREAS, a hazard exists to the public on Upper Hoh Road, County Road
Number 914207, m.p. 7.7, due to a washout caused by flooding and erosion, and;
WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to
close or restrict traffic on county roads;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Upper Hoh Road, County
Road Number 914207, at milepost 7.00, be closed to all unauthorized vehicles and traffic
commencing immediately and remain closed until such time as the road is stabilized and
reopened, and the County Engineer is hereby directed to post the above road in the
manner prescribed by RCW 47.48.020 and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control
Devices.
