RESOLUTION NO. 72-95 WHEREAS, requests have been made on behalf of various Jefferson County Funds for budget appropriations and extensions for their 1995 budgets due to additional expenditures, which were not anticipated at the time of preparing said budgets, and budget extensions to allow expenditures of unanticipated reimbursements received from fees, or grants from the State and Federal government, or proceeds from the sale of bonds; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists that could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the budgets for 1995 and the following sums are needed for appropriation from the unencumbered balances of the funds listed: CURRENT EXPENSE FUNDS: Animal Services Assessor Cooperative Extension Long Range Planning Sheriff Treasurer Operating Transfer Total Current Expense $14,000.00 5,500.00 3,377.35 140,000.00 2,000.00 1,179.00 23,688.00 ------------- $189,744.35 OTHER FUNDS: Bayshore Motel Health and Human Services 29,650.00 23,688.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, and that appropriations/extensions be made for the above noted funds. BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency appropriations and extensions and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend Washington, on the 5th day of September 1995, at the hour of 11:45 a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriations/extensions for such alleged emergency.
