(r,...~v.... {..' )/. ~y )j....., n ~ \~,?'1 3ft' ',-IF () I~/i ':J C~'· ~ ~ RESOLUTION NO. 113-87 BEARING NOTICE PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS VARIOUS COUNTY DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, three Jefferson County budgets have insufficient funds to cover the following additional expenditures which were not anticipated at the time of preparing the said budgets; Building Inspection..................$ 70.00 Shoreline Commission....... ... .......$ 300.00 Sheriff Department...................$14,867.57 Total: $15,237.57 and WHEREAS, the total amount of Current Expense monies needed to meet the aforementioned emergency appropriation is $15,237.57; and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of making the budgets for 1987 and the sum of $15,237.57 is necessary to meet such need and emergency for the three above noted budgets and is for the best interest of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared and that an appropriation be made for the Building Inspection Department, the Shoreline Commission and the Sheriff's Department for the total amount of $15,237.57 to pay for unanticipated expenses for 1987. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 11th day of January, 1988, at the hour of 10:00a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency. 28th day of December, 1987.
