RESOLUTION NO. 57-R7
A RESOLUTION PROHIBITING
THROUGH TRUCK TRAFFIC ON
PARADISE BAY ROAD.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson
County may by resolution, per 36.75.270 RCW, prohibit certain
classes of vehicles on county roads, AND
WHEREAS, Paradise Bay Road in the vicinity of the Paradise
Bay Community is not adequate for the routing of truck traffic,
AND
WHEREAS, Truck traffic can be routed along SR104 and Beaver
Valley Road as a safer route designed to handle truck traffic.
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED: That all through truck traffic
weighing in excess of 15 Tons based on licensed gross vehicle
weight be prohibited from using the following road:
That portion of Paradise Bay Road,
County Road No. 50360, from Mile-
post 2.89 to Milepost 3.72.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the prohibition to take
affect upon the placement of traffic signs indicating the same
and that the prohibition shall be for the 24 hour time period of
12:00 midnight to 12:00 midnight each day. Trucks delivering to
the area served by the af fected road are exempt from this
prohibition.

FRANK W. GARRED, being sworn, says he is Ihe publisher of
the Pori Townsend leader, a weekly newspaper which has
been established, published in the English language and cir·
culated conlinuously as a weekly newspaper in the lawn of
Pori Townsend, in said Counly and Stale, and for general cir·
culalion in said county for more than six (61 monlhs prior 10 the
dale of the first publication of the Notice herelo attached, and
that the said Pori Townsend leader was on the 27th day of
June 1941, approved as a legal newspaper by the Superior
COUrl of said Jefferson County, and that annexed is true copy
of the
Resolution #57-87
prohibiting through truck
traffic on Paradise Bay Road
as it appeared in the regular and entire issue of said paper
itself and not in a supplement thereof for a period of
one
consecutive weeks, beginning on the
15th day of July
15th
and ending on the __day of

19-ª-L, and that said newspaper was regularly dtstributed
to its subscribers during all of this period. That the full
amount of $ 38. 00 has bee aid in full, at the
