RESOLUTION NO. 66-81
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is applying for a grant in
conjunct ion with the Ci ty of Port Townsend for funding of the
Jefferson County Sept age Disposal - City of Port Townsend
Treatment Plant Impact Study from the Washington State Department
of Ecology; and,
WHEREAS the Chairman of the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners has the authority under RCW 36.32.100 to "sign all
documents requiring the signature of the Board, and his signature
as Chairman of the Board shall be as legal and binding as if all
members had affixed their names;" and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner Larry W. Dennison was duly elected
by the members of the Board of County Commissioners to serve as
Chairman for the years 1987 and 1988;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Commissioner Larry
W. Dennison is hereby authorized to sign as Chairman of the
Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on any document necessary
for the granting of funds from the Washington State Department of
Ecology for the Jefferson County Septage Disposal - Port Townsend
Treatment Plant Impact Study.
APPROVED and signed this 5th day of August 1987.
