HomeMy WebLinkAbout100 87 RESOLUTION NO. 100-87 Designation of a Hazardous Materials Incident Command Agency WHEREAS, Section 4, Chapter 172, laws of 1982, Revised Code of Washington 70.136.030 as amended, requires that the governing body of JEFFERSON COUNTY designate a hazardous materials incident command agency within the boundaries of the County; and WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners has considered the training, manpower, expertise, and equipment of available agencies and the applicable codes and regulations; and WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners finds that there is no agency but the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department available to meet the requirements as defined; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners that Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is hereby designated as hazardous materials incident command agency to operate within the boundaries of Jefferson County. . ød Approved and passed th~s ~ day of December, 1987.
