RESOLUTION NO. 105<'-87
AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION NO. 18-83
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GENERAL FIXED ASSET
GROUP OF ACCOUNTS
WHEREAS, the Office of the State Auditor has prescribed the Budgeting,
Accounting, and Reporting System (BARS) for cities and counties in the State of
Washington; and
WHEREAS, the BARS manual requires that the general fixed asset group
of accounts be established and reported in the financial statements; and
WHEREAS, said group of accounts has been established for Jefferson
County, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor is hereby authorized and
impowered to establish the General Fixed Asset Group of Accounts to include
all assets of Jefferson County such as land, buildings, machinery, equipment
and furniture that has a value, as amended, of $500.00 or more, and to report
said assets in the County financial statements.
