RESOLUTION NO. 5-85
ESTABLISHMENT OF REVOLVING FUND
"VICTORIAN SEAPORT TRADING COMPANY"
WHEREAS, the Day Treatment component of the Jefferson County
Mental Health Program is operated on a vocational model uning a client-
operated tea-blending company called "Victorian Seaport Trading Company";
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Tea Company to have a revolv-
ing fund in the form of a checking account in order to purchase teas and
provide a confidential payroll or division of profits among clients; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Treasurer is hereby
instructed to transfer the sum of $1,000.00 by Treasurer's check from the
Human Services Mental Health Fund to the "victorian Seaport Trading Company
Revoling Fund"; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any/all checks drawn on the "Victorian
Seaport Trading Company Revolving Fund" shall require two signatures of
county Mental Health Staff, to be so designated/authorized by the County
Mental Health Director.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one to
meet needs, and this resolution shall be in force and take effect withòut
further notice or hearing.
