RESOLUTION NO. 22-85
REIMBURSEMENT OF SAVINGS ON COST OF EMPLOYEES'
MEDICAL BENEFITS
WHEREAS, a new co-pay medical insurance plan was accepted by
the eligable employees of Jefferson County and by the Board of Jefferson
County Commissioners, to be in effect as of January 1, 1985, which re-
sulted in a financial savings to the Current Expense Fund and ultimately
to the residents of Jefferson County; and
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners wish to reimburse said
employees due to the above savings realized; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be, and she is hereby
authorized to pay each eligable Current Expense employee enrolled in the
Washington Counties Insurance Fund Blue Cross Plan III the sum of $24.00
per month, effective as of January 1, 1985, as a reimbursement of savings
on the cost of employees' medical benefits; said amount is to be listed
separately and not considered to be part of their salary for future per-
centage raises.
