RESOLUTION NO. 23-85
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION
PLANNING/BUILDING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning/Building Department has
insufficient funds in its 1985 Budget of Expenditures to cover costs in-
curred for the purchase of a printer and printing supplies to allow
in-house printing for county departments and the amount of $1,039.00 is
needed for the said additional expenditures which were not anticipated at
the time of preparing the budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contem-
plated at the time of making the budget for 1985, and the sum of $1,039.00
is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interest
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation be made for the Jefferson County Planning/Building Department
from Current Expense Fund No. 308, unencumbered fund balance for the purpose
of paying for a printer and printing supplies.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 15th
day of April, 1985, at the hour of lO:45a.m., and that notice of said
hearing be published in the official newspaper of the County, and that at
said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against
the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
