RESOLUTION NO.
24-85
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION
DISTRICT COURT BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County District Court 1985 Budget
of Expenditures has insufficient funds to cover additional expenditures
in the amount of $770.00, which was not anticipated at the time of
preparing said budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen
Or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985, and the sum
of $770.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the
best interest of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County District Court
Budget from Current Expense Fund No. 308, unencumbered fund balance, for
the purpose of paying Industrial Insurance coverage.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
l5th day of April, 1985, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of the County, and
that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for
or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
