RESOLUTION NO. 27-85
BUDGET TRANSFER
JUVENILE & FAMILY COURT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Juvenile/Family Court
Services Director has requested a budget transfer within her 1985
budget due to certain specified membership fees being more costly
than anticipated for 1985¡ and
WHEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds within
another category in the said budget to allow the requested transfer¡
nOW, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be, and she is
hereby authorized to make the transfer as follows:

Request for Budget Transfer, JUVENILE & FAMILY COURT SERVICES
April 3, 1985
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget,
it appears that an adjustment should be made within the 1985 Budget
of Expenditures for the above-named department, JUVENILE COURT SERVICES.
Due to there being sufficient funds in other accounts within the budget
of this department to permit the necessary adjustment(s), I hereby request
the following transfer(s) :

$100.00 527.10.49 010 Miscellaneous - Dues, Subscriptions, Memberships
Reason for Transf.er(s) : Based on 1984 expenditures, only $100 was allotted
to 527.10.49 010 (Dues, etc.), however, in 1985 the membership fee for
certain associations "sky-rocketed." For example, the Washington Association
of Juvenile Court Administrators went from $30 in 1984 to $80 in 1985; and
Juvenile Court Workers Association increased from $7.50 in 1984 to $10 in
1985. Funds from the 527.10.49 010 category are needed also for training
seminars on a selected basis.
