RESOLUTION NO. 30-85
ORDER
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
PLANNING/BUILDING DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of commissioners did,
On the 1st day of April, 1~85, declare that an emergency existed to
provide the sum of $1,039.00 for the Planning/Building Department
and set a hearing on said emergency for the 15th day of April, 1985,
at the hour of 10:45a.m.; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing
and no objection or objection interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners, that due to there being sufficient funds within the
Current Expense Fund No. 308, unencumbered fund balance, that the
sum of $1,03~.00 be appropriated to the Planning/Building Department
Budget for 1985.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the County Auditor include
the sum of $1,039.00 in the said Planning/Building Department Budget.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that a new revenue line item be
established within Current Expense under Department 1410 Planning

Gentlemen:
Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
, it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number 558.50.30
of $ 3,400.00 of the Current Expense ,Fund is, insufficient to pay
~ecessary expenses of this department for this year. After a careful
examination of the expenditures under this fund in previous years, and a,
thorough examination of the present needs of this department under the
current year, 1 estimate that it 'will be necessary to have an additional
appropriation in the form of an emergency appropriation in the approxi-
mate amount of $ 500.00 for this current year for the following
reasons:
In an effort tó reduce printing costs, the board of commissioners decided to purchase
~ printing press and. have as much of the printing needs of county departments done
In-house. The p~inting will be done by the planning and building department., The
money requested lS to purchase printing supplies, such as 'Pâ!1er, envelopes, ink,
e~c. Departments having their printing done by the planning and building department
wlll be ~harged, at cost, for this service.
Accordingly, I request permission from the Board of County Commissioners
for an emergency appropriation in the sum of $500.00 for the cur-
rent year. .
