This session will provide background on the legislation, including what it allows for and how to form a TIA. It will showcase the Port of Vancouver's recent efforts to establish a TIA and lessons learned throughout the process. Finally, it will address how a city, county, or port can determine if a TIA can be beneficial and appropriately used.
