RESOLUTION NO.
37-85
BRINNON CDBG PROJECT
BUDGET ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
have entered into contract with the Washington State Department
of Community Development for a Community Development Block Grant
in the amount of $575,382 to be used for the acquisition and
renovation of an existing facility for a senior center in
Brinnon; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners
that an emergency exists and the sum of $575,382 is necessary
to establish a budget for the Brinnon CDBG project in the said
amount, and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that
the budget be established; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
that a budget of $575,382 be established, and that the Jefferson
County Treasurer establish a fund to receive said monies, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be held
on said emergency and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chamber of Jefferson County on the 17th day of
June, 1985 at the hour of 10:30 a.m., and that notice of said
hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson
County and that at said hearing, any interest taxpayers may appear
and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged
emergency.
