JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 38 -85
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County, Washington, regarding the exchange
of privately owned real property for County owned real
property.
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is in need of property to serve as
the right -of -way for County Road 528209; and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is the owner of certain real
property which is not necessary to the future foreseeable needs
of the County, the description of which is set out on Attachment
"A "; and
WHEREAS, the Community United Methodist Church is the owner
of certain real property, the description of which is set out on
Attachement "B" which would provide the necessary right -of -way
for County Road 528209; and
WHEREAS, the Community United Methodist Church is desirous
of exchanging the property described in Attachment "B" for the
property described in Attachment "A" and it appears that it is in
the best interests of Jefferson County to exchange the said
parcels of property; and
WHEREAS, the exchange of County -owned real property for
private property is authorized by the laws of 1965, 1st Ex.
Sess., Ch 21 RCW 36.34.330; Now, Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Jefferson County Prosecuting
Attorney should proceed to present this matter to the Superior
Court for authorization to exchange the parcels of property

That prtion of the N.M. 1/4 of Section 11, Township 29 N,
Range 1 W, W.M., described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Section 11, from
which the north 1/4 corner bears N 87 56' 45" W a distance of
2682.91 feet, thence along the north line of said section 11, N
87 56' 45" N a distance of 1342.45 feet to the N. E. corner of
the N.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of said Section 11, and the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing along said north line N 87
56' 45" W a distance of 87.22 feet to a line that is parallel and
40.00 feet southeasterly of the. centerline of County Road 932507;
thence S 39 41' 09" W along said line, a distance of 34.24 feet
to a line that is parallel and 30.00 .feet northeasterly of the
centerline of County Road 528209; thence S 61 56' 22" E along
said line a distance of 120.78 feet to the easterly line of the
N.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 a distance of 80.08 feet to the True
Point of Beginning.

Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the N.E. corner of said Section 11, from which
the north 1/4 corner bears N 87 56' 45" W a distance of 2682.91
feet; thence along the north line of said Section 11, N 87 56'
45• W. a distance of 1341.45 feet to the N. W. corner of the N.E.
1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of said Section 11, a distance of 80.08 feet
to the northerly right -of -way of County Road 52809, and the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 61 56' 22" E along said northerly
