RESOLUTION NO. 43-85
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION - CORRECTION CENTER CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department has requested
a budget extension for the Correction Center Construction Budget due to
notification from the State of Washington that Jefferson County will re-
ceive additional funds in the amount of $160,000.00 for the County jail
project; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to extend the
Correction Center Construction budget by the above noted amount to be
received from the State; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for the
purpose of extending the Correction Center Construction Budget by the
sum of $160,000.00 to be used for the Jefferson County Jail project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the
said emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held in the
County Conunissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on
the 15th day of July, 1985, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of
the said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or against the extension for such alleged emergency.
