HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
ALL COUNTY DEPARTMENTS
WHEREAS, the Departments of Jefferson County have insuf-
ficient funds itl their 1985 Budgets of Expenditures to cover
additional expenditures as follows, which were not anticipated at
the time of preparing the budget:

WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Com-
missioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been
foreseen or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985,
and the sum of $102,287.53 is necessary to meet such need and
emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the
appropriation be made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that an appropriation be made for the Departments listed
in the total amount of $1.02,2.87.53 for the purpose of paying the
employee salaryhcreasesJthat were negotiated and agreed upon with the
employees and their representative organizations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on
said emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
22nd day of July 1985, at the hour of 10:30 a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at:, said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be
