RESOLUTION NO. 56-85
CANCELLATION OF UNCLAIMED WARRANTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.22.100, registered or interest
bearing county warrants not presented within one year of the date of
their call, and all other county warrants not presented within one
year of the date of their issue shall be cancelled by the legislative
authority of the county¡ and
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has submitted a list of county
warrants that were issued and not presented within the time frame
specified in said RCW¡ now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
that the following warrants specified below be cancelled in compliance
with RCW 36.22.100¡ and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Auditor and Treasurer
shall cancel all record of such warrants so as to leave the funds as if
such warrants had never been drawn:

Dear Sirs:
Warrants of any municipal corporation not presented within one year of their
issue, shall be cancelled by the passage of a resolution of the governing
body. (Ref. RCW 36.22.100)
In order to comply with the referenced RCW, I am requesting a resolution from
you to cancel the outstanding warrants indicated below.
