ORDER
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did,
on the 9th day of December, 1985~ declare that an emergency existed
to provide the sum of $52,667.00 for the Prosecuting Attorney's budget
and set a hearing on said emergency for the 6th day of January, 1986,
at the hour of 10:00 a.m.; and,
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing
and no objection or objection interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
that due to there being sufficient funds in the unencumbered fund
balance of the Current Expense Fund, that the Jefferson County Auditor
be, and she is hereby authorized to include the sum of $52,667.00 in
the Prosecuting Attorney's budget, Fund No. 1500, to be distributed
to BARS lines as needed.

Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted am unt in BARS Account Number /~~a

RESOLUTION NO. 94-85
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S BUDGET
w~EREAS, the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Budget
has insufficient funds to cover additional expenditures in the amount
of $52,667,00 which were not anticipated at the time of preparing the
said budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Cornnis-
sioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen
or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985, and the sum
of $52,667.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for
the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County
Prosecuting Attorney's budget in the amount of $52,667.00 for the purpose
of paying legal fees relating to ESM and the Jail arbitration.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
6th day of January, 1986, at the hour of 10:00a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be
heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
