RESOLUTION NO. 4-86
ORDER
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
CORRECTION CENTER CONSTRUCTION BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did,
on the 9th day December 1985, declare that an emergency existed to
provide the sum of $133,103.00 for the Correction Center Construction
budget and set a hearing on said emergency for the 6th day of January
1986, at the hour of 10:30 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, this being the time and place set for said hearing
and no objection or objection interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners, that due to the entire appropriation being reimbursed
through a Federal EOC Grant, that the County Auditor be, and she is
hereby authorized to include the sum of $133,103.00 in the Correction
Center Construction Budget No. 13960, to be distributed to BARS lines
as needed. ~

RESOLUTION NO. 95-85
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
CORRECTION CENTER CONSTRUCTION BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Correction Center Construction
budget has insufficient funds to cover additional expenditures in the
amount of $133,103.00 which were not anticipated at the time of pre-
paring the said budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen
or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985, and the sum
of $133,103.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for
the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County
Correction Center Construction budget in the amount of $133,103.00 for
the purpose of including the said amount as reimbursement from the
Federal E.O.C. Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, \-Jashington, on the
6th day of January, 1986, at the hour of 10:30a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be
heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
