RESOLUTION NO. 23-86
BUDGET TRANSFER
COUNTY TREASURER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer has requested budget
transfers in order to allow an increase in salary for one of her
employees, which was not anticipated at the time of preparing the
1986 Budget of Expenditures; and
WHEREAS, due to there being sufficient funds in other
categories within her budget to allow the requested transfer; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Auditor be, and she is
hereby authorized to make transfers as follows:

BE: Salary increase for office employee
Gentlemen:
In response to my letter dated February 14, 1986, Larry informed me that if I
could come up with the $50.00 a month, without increasing my bottom line budget,
that I could increase Janet Holbrook's salary by $50.00 a month retroactive to
January 1, 1986.
After taking a closer look at the Treasurer's 0 & M budget, I could take some
supplies from that budget because we do have to buy supplies for collection of
delinquent taxes. Therefore I would like to transfer in the Treasurer's budget
from:

Since I was not made aware that there would be any merit raises given employèes
this year, T èid not D1~~:::' ::"n a request f'or¡ Ja~9t Holbrook a raise.
She has been a consistently good worker for fou~ years and still remains on the
extreme low end of the salary schedule. Theres a $6000.00 a year difference
between her salary 2C1d the osher' three employee3 in my office excluding longev:L ty.
Janet does everything that my cashier does plus other duties. She adapts very well
to anyt}-Üng I tell her to do. I am requesting a $100.00 a month raise. T:1is is
