RESOLUTION NO. 85-85
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET APPROPRIATION
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Equalization Budget
has insufficient funds to cover additional expenditures in the amount
of $1,400.00, which was not anticipated at the time of preparing the
said budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been
foreseen or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985,
and the sum of $1,400.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency
and is for the best interest of Jefferson County that the appropriation
be :made;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County Board
of Equalization fro:m the unencumbered current expense fund balance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
2nd day of December, at the hour of lO:OOa.m. and that notice of said
hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County, and
that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.
