In the matter of

WHEREAS. the Jefferson County Board of COIIIiissioners has reviewed a road vacation
petition subaitted by Chester and Mildred Northup; and
WHEREAS. the Jefferson County Board of Co_issioners held a public hearing on the road
vacation peti tion on May 12. 1986; and
WHEREAS. the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of the
public. comments f~ applicable departaent. agencies and offices, and recommendation for
the Jefferson County Public Works Department and JeffersOD County Planning COJIIIIission at
the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the public hearing
that the public will benefit fro. the vacation of the road and such vacation complies with
the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies or ordinances;
and
WHEREAS. cOJllpensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson County Road
Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85 has been met,
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to
RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: All that portion of
the eighty (80) feet in width and approximately 121 feet in length right of way of Broadway
Avenue. laying west of State Highway 101, and laying between blocks 138 and 137 of the plat
of Junction City. and the lot lines between Lots 7 and 8, between Lots 8 and 9, between
Lots 10 and 11 and between Lots 11 and 12 of Block 138, all wi thin the plat of Junction
City, as recorded in Volume 2. Page 103 of Plats, Records of Jefferson County, Washington.
