COUNTY OF JEFFERSON

RESOLUTION NO. 46-86
WHEREAS, RCW 10.95.165 requires the establishment of a local
Solid Waste Advisory Committee,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Jefferson
County Commissioners hereby establishes a Solid Waste Advisory
Committee to be composed of nine members appointed by the Board
of County Commissioners for a term not to exceed two years, and
further
the objectives of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee shall
be to assist in the development of programs and policies
concerning solid waste handling and disposal, to review and
comment upon proposed rules, policies or ordinance prior to their
adoption by the Board of Commissioners, and further
the Solid Waste Advisory Committee is hereby directed to
adopt by-laws governing the committee, and said by-laws shall be
thence adopted by the Board of County Commissioners as the by-
laws of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee. Incorporated in said
by-laws shall be the objectives of the committee and procedures
governing officers and their duties and any other procedures the
committee shall chose to adopt governing their meetings.
