RESOLUTION NO. 98-85
HEARING NOTICE
EMERGENCY BUDGET APPROPRIATION
NON-DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Non-Departmental Budget has
insufficient funds to cover additional expenditures in certain line
items in the amount of $1,600.00, which was not anticipated at the
time of preparing the budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners that a need and emergenéy exists as could not have been foreseen
or contemplated at the time of making the budget for 1985, and the sum
of $1,600.00 is necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for
the best interest of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County Non-
Departmental Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
6th day of January" 198<:>, at the hour of 10: 15a. m., and that no tice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.

Gentlemen:

Please, be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number

Port Townsend Leader, 0 weekly newspaper which has been
established, published in the English language and circulated con-
tinuously as a weekly newspaper in the town of Port Townsend, in
said COU¡'1ty and State, and for general circulation in said county
for mare than six (6) months prior to the date of the first publica-
tion of the Notice hereto attached, and that the said Port Town-
send Leader was on the 27th day of June, 1941, approved as a
legal newspaper by the Superior Court of said Jefferson County,
