RESOLUTION NO. 49-86
ORDER
BUDGET EXTENSION
JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners did,
on the 12th day of May, 1986, declare that an emergency existed to
extend the Health Department Budget by the sum of $1,632.00 due to
said amount being received from the State of Washington through a
grant from the Crippled Chri1dren's Services, and set a hearing on
said emergency for the 27th of May, 1986, at the hour of 4:00p.m.
and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held at the time and place set
and there were no objections interposed; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, by the Board of County Commission-
ers, that the County Auditor is hereby authorized to include the
sum of $1,632.00 in the Health Department Budget as follows:

Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number 562.00.l0~0600
of $ /. 300 ' of the µ~~lt:b.'~Dii1." It t: Fund is· insufficient. 'to pay
neces5ary expenses of this depar£fue~ËRfor this year. After a careful
examination of the expenditures under this fund in previous years, and a
thorough examination of the present needs of this department under the
current year, I estimate that it·will be necessary to have an additional
.appropriationin the form of an emergency appropriation in the approxi-
mate amount of $ 1,632.00 for this current year for the following
reasons:
The, Crippled Children's párt of the Parent-Child Heal,th Grant has been increased to
cover additional clerical time at the local level in the amount of-$1,632 tö be=paid
D)Etbe State. (333.99: 94 Health Department Revenue will be increased by $1,632).
Accordingly, I request permission from the Board of County Commissioners
for an emergency appropriation in the sum of $ 1,632.00 for the cur-
x-ent. year.' "

RESOLUTION NO. 37-86
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET EXTENSION
JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Health Department has
requested a budget ext4nsion to include an increase in funds from
the Crippled Children's Services Grant in the amount of $1,632.00,
to be used to pay for additional clerical time; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to
extend the Health Department budget by the said amount of Federal
funds to be received through the State of Washington; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared for
the purpose of extending the Jefferson County Health Department
Budget by the sum of $1,632.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on
the said emergency budget extension, and that said hearing be held
in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend,
Washington, on the 27th day of May, 1986, at the hour of 4:00p.m"
and that notice of said hearing be published in the official news-
paper of Jefferson County and that at said hearing any interested
taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the extension for
such alleged emergency.
