WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners
vacation petition submitted by Leo and Dorothy Neal; and

reviewed a road
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing
on the road vacation petition on June 17, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of
the public; comments from applicable departments, agencies, and offices; and
recommendations from the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson
County Planning Commission at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the
public hearing that the public will benefit from the vacation of the road and
such vacation complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other
applicable plans, policies, or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36.87.120 and Jefferson
County Road Vacation Ordinance 3-85 has been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED t.hat the following be vacated and
abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation
Ordinance 3-85: All of the 60 feet in width and 270 feet in length right-of-way
of Maple Street laying west of and adjacent to Lots 1 and 10 and the alley of
Block 21, all in the Supplementary Plat of Captain Tibbal's Lake Park as recorded
in Volume 2, Page 3 of Plats, records of Jefferson County, State of Washingtor;,
