RESOLUTION NO. 105 -85
HEARING NOTICE
BUDGET EXTENSION AND APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, four Jefferson County Departments have requested
either budget appropriations for their 1985 budgets due to additional
expenditures not anticipated at the time of preparing said budgets, or
budget extensions to allow expenditures of unanticipated funds; and
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS TO THE Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been
foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the above referenced
budgets for 1985, and the sum of $6,071.00 is needed for appropriations
from the unencumbered Current Expense fund to cover the unexpected
expenditures in the Coroner's Fund for $1,100.00, the Planning /Building
Fund for $4,371.00, the Shoreline Commission Fund for $225.00 and the
Planning Commission Fund for $375.00, to cover unexpected expenditures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby
declared, and that an extension and appropriation be made for the
above noted funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the
said emergency extension and appropriation and that said hearing be
held in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend
Washington, on the 13th day of January, 1986, at the hour of 10:00 a.m.
and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper
of Jefferson County and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer
may appear and be heard for or against the appropriations for such
alleged emergency.
