COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
In the matter of

Vacation of the Old Lower Hadlock x

1fHEREAS, this matter coming to be heard on the 23rd day of JUne, 1986, upon the
reports submitted by the Jefferson County Public liorks Department with respect to the
vacation set forth in "Intent to Vacate", Jefferson County Resolution No. 39-86, and it
appearing to the Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing has been posted and
published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such posting and
publication being now on file herein, and said Board having the other evidence adduced and
being fully advised in the pl'eJlises, does now find and determine that the public will be
benefited by the vacation thereof;
NCM THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED :
That portion of the sixty (60) foot in width by approximately 1,025 feet in length of
the Old Lower Hadlock Road, laying in Sections 1 and 2, Township 29N., Range 1 Ii. Ii.M. ,
commencing at the northeasterly right of way of the intersection of Oak Bay Road, County
Rœd Number 940407, and Ironda1e Rœd, County Rœd Number 933507, as shown on the plan for
County Rœd Project Number CR0582, on file at the Jefferson County Public liorks DepartJIJent,
thence easterly to the westerly right of way of the Lower Hadlock Rœd, County Rœd Number
652509. Excepting therefrm. any portion of the sixty (60) feet in width southerly
extension of Scott Road, County Rœd Number 651509, lying northerly of the centerline of
said Old Lower Hadlock Road,
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCIi 36.87.140.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Jefferson County shall retain
purposes along the length of the vacated portion of the rœd.

thence easterly to the westerly right of way of the Lower Hadlock Road, County Road Number
652509. Excepting therefrom any portion of the sixty (60) feet in width southerly
extension of Scott Road, County Road Number 651509, lying northerly of the centerline of
said Old Lower Hadlock Road,
be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Jefferson County shall retain an easement for drainage
purposes along the length of the vacated portion of the road.
