RESOLUTION NO. 63-86
HEARING NOTICE
PROPOSED BUDGET APPROPRIATION
JEFFERSON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County District Court has
requested a budget appropriation to cover additional expenditures
for Court appointedå.ttorneys in the amount of $2,500.00, which
was not anticipated at the time of preparting their Budget of E~-
penditures for 1986; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have
been foreseen or contemplated at the time of making the budget for
1986, and the sum of $2,500,00 is necessary to meet such need and
emergency and is for the best interest of Jefferson County that
the appropriation be made; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
that an appropriation be made for the Jefferson County District
Court in the amoùnt of $2,500.00 for the purpose of paying addi-
tional Court appointed attorneys.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held
on the said emergency budget appropriation, and that said hearing
beheld in the County Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port
Townsend, Washington, on the 11th day of August, 1986, at the hour
of 4:00p.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the
official newspaper of Jefferson County, and that at said hearing
any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the
appropriation for such alleged emergency.
