RESOLUTION NO. 69-86
REVOLVING FUND EXTENSION
SHERIFF'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has expressed
a need to increase the amount of the Sheriff's Revolving Fund, re-
established March 19, 1984, by Resolution No. 21-84, from the amount of
$450.00 to the sum of $2,000.00 to cover costs incurred by the purchase
of food for the jail; and
WHEREAS, the extension to the said Revolving Fund has been
necessitated due to a change in the procedures used to purchase food
for the jail, and a check is needed at the time of such purchase, and
WHEREAS, the check needed for such food purchase each month
should not exceed $1,550.00, the Revolving Fund shall be increased by
that amount; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Treasurer be, and she is
hereby authorized to issue a Treasurer's check in the amount of
$1,550.00 payable to the Jefferson County Sheriff for the purpose of
increasing the Sheriff's Revolving Fund balance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the subject matter hereof is one
to meet needs and this resolution shall be in force and take effect
without further notice or hearing.
