Within the Plat of x
Kuhnsville. x
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this board of County Commissioners
that it is not in the public interest to retain as county road right of way:
That portion of the sixty (60) feet in width by approximately 110 feet in length of
the Alcohol Loop Road, County Road Number 654309 (George Street),laying between Lots 5 and
6 of Block 3, and Lots 3 and 4 of Block 8 of the Plat of Kuhnsville, as recorded in Volume
1, Page 35 of plats, records of Jefferson County, State of Washington, and 10 feet
northerly of the northerly right of way line of the Oak Bay Road, County Road Number
940407,
And:
The lot lines between Lots 5 and 6 of Bloçk 3 and Lots 3 and 4 of Block 8 of the Plat
of Kuhnsville, as recorded in Volume 1, Page 35 of Plats, records of Jefferson County,
State of Washington.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, same is useless,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Engineer is hereby directed to examine
said road and report his opinion as to whether this county road right of way should be
vacated and abandoned and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance
to the Board, and that such report be filed as soon as possible. The hearing date for the
proposed vacation is October 1:" ,1986, at the hour of 2:00pm, in the Co.issioners'
Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington.
