Vacation of a Portion of Lake x
Avenue and various lot lines in x
the Plat of Phillips' Bay View x
Addition. x
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners has reviewed a road vacation
petition submitted by Robert L,and Sharon F. Southard; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the road
vacation petition on November 10, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners considered testimony of the
public, comments from applicable departments, agencies and offices, and recommendation for
the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County Planning Commission at
the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners determined at the public hearing
that the public will benefit from the vacation of a portion of the road and such vacation
complies with the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan and other applicable plans, policies.
or ordinances; and
WHEREAS, compensation required pursuant to RCW 36,87.120 and Jefferson County Road
Vacation Ordinance No, 3-85 has been met,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following be vacated and abandoned pursuant to
RCW 36.87.140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of Lake
Avenue laying between Blocks 3 and 12 and the lot lines between lots one through six of
Block 12, all of the Plat of Phillips Bay View Addition as recorded in Vol. 2, Pg.87 of
Plats, records of Jefferson County, State of Washington.
ADOPTED THIS ØdDAY OF ~~1986.

RCW 36.87,140 and Jefferson County Road Vacation Ordinance No. 3-85: that portion of Lake
Avenue laying between Blocks 3 and 12 and the lot lines between lots one through six of
Block 12, all of the Plat of Phillips Bay View Addition as recorded in Vol. 2, Pg.87 of
Plats, records of Jefferson County, State of Washington.
