NON-DEPARTMENTAL FUND WHEREAS, the Non-Departmental Budget within the Current Expense Fund has insufficient monies in the 1986 Budget of Expenditures to cover all anticipated costs due to a short fall of monies received from Federal Revenue Sharing¡ and WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that a need and emergency exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of preparing the budget for 1986, and the sum of $15,744.75 lS necessary to meet such need and emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that the appropriation be made¡ now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared and that an appropriation be made for the Current Expense Non-Departmental Fund in the total amount of $15,744.75 for the purpose of paying Fourth-quarter allo- cations to the various agencies previously budgeted for 1986¡ and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on the said emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis- sioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the 22nd day of December, 1986, at the hour of lO:OOa.m. and that notice of said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency. ~ APPRQVED this 3 day of December, 1986.
