RESOLUTION NO. 96-86
DISSOLUTION OF REVOLVING FUND
SHERIFF'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the establishment of an additional Revolving Fund
for the Sheriff's Office had been necessitated due to the need for a
check to purchase food for the jail and such a Revolving Fund was
established in the amount of $1500.00 by adoption of Resolution No. 84-
86 on October 28, 1986, and;
WHEREAS, that Revolving Fund is no longer needed because the
food for the jail is now being supplied by a company that issues a
billing for food purchases after they are obtained; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 84-86 is hereby cancelled
and the newly established Revolving Fund in the amount of $1,500.00 is
dissolved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Jefferson County Treasurer
is hereby authorized to void the Treasurer's Check issued to the
Jefferson County Sheriff in the amount of $1,500.00 for the purpose of
establishing a new Revolving Fund, and that the Jefferson County
Auditor is authorized to cancel the attendant petty cash entries
required for this revolVi~und in the General Ledger.
