RESOLUTION NO. 9-84
JEFFERSON COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dated December 1983
WHEREAS, methods of disposing of solid wastes in Jefferson
County have been managed by the Solid Waste Management Plan dated
June, 1973 and,
WHEREAS, such plan has been updated to meet the standards
of the various environmental protection agencies involved, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County through its Board of County
Commissioners, Solid Waste Advisory Committee and technical advisors,
has redesigned the Solid Waste Management Plan dated June, 1973, and
WHEREAS, said plan provides for the elevation and preservation
of the quality of our environment,
NOW BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners that the JEFFERSON COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
dated December 1983 is adopted as the plan for solid waste management
in Jefferson County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ;(?I~ay of January, 1984.
