RESOLUTION NO. 14-84
WHEREAS the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund was established to provide for
the vehicle needs of Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS it has become impractical for the Jefferson County Sheriff to maintain a
fleet of vehicles separate from the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund, and
WHEREAS the budget adopted for 1984 provides for the Equipment Rental and Revoìving
Fund to purchase the existing fleet of Sheriff's vehicles and for the Sheriff to rent
vehicles from the Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following cars be transferred to the Equip-
ment Rental and Revolving Fund, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $88,712.00 be paid into the Current Expense
Fund for the purchase of the fleet of Sheriff vehicles and all equipment associated
with the vehicles to be paid as follows:
$25,000.00 to be paid in July 1984
$25,000.00 to be paid in December 1984
$38,712.00 to be paid in July 1985
