RESOLUTION NO. 72-84
EMERGENCY BUDGET ,APPROPRIATION
JEFFERSON COUNTY LAW LIBRARY
SETTING OF HEARING DATE
HHEREAS, the Jefferson County Clerk has requested an emergency
budget appropriation for the Jefferson County Law Library due to the 1984
budget having insufficient funds to cover increased costs of publication;
and
lVREREAS, there is a lack of revenue sources from the Clerk and
Superior Court and less filings in Superior Court which causes less
revenue for the Law Library and was nöt foreseeable at the time of pre-
paring the 1984 budget; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners that
an emergency exists and the sum of $1,800.00 is necessary to meet such
need and emergency and is for the best interests of Jefferson County that
an appropriation be made; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared, that an
appropriation in the amount of $1,800.00 be made for the Jefferson County
Law Library to be used for payment of law books.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County
Commissioners' Chambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, on the
19th day of November, 1984, at the hour of ll:30a.m., and that notice of
said hearing be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County,
and that at said hearing any interested taxpayer may appear and be heard
for or against the appropriation for such alleged emergency.

Please be advised that after a thorough examination of my current budget
it appears that the budgeted amount in BARS Account Number ~ ,~'O()
