RESOLUTION NO. 75-84
INCREASE IN FEES
FOR THE JEFFERSON COUNTY LAW LIBP~RY
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 27.24.070 the Clerk of the Superior
Court shall pay from each fee collected for the filing in her office of
every new probate or civil matter, including appeals, the sum of seven
dollars for the support of the County Law Library: PROVIDED that upon a
showing of need the seven dollar fee may be increased up to nine dollars
upon the request of the law library board of trustees and with the ap-
proval of the county legislative authority; and
WHEREAS, the funds presently collected from filing fees for
cases filed in this County are insufficient to adequately provide for
the Jefferson County Law Library; now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Jefferson County Commis-
sioners that the Jefferson County Law Library shall receive nine dollars
($9.00) from each new probate or civil case filed, including appeals,
abstracts or transcripts, as authorized by RCW 27.24.070, effective as
of January 1, 1985.
