RESOLUTION NO. 28 -84
ORDER OF VACATION
PORTION OF OLD OLYMPIC HIGHWAY
This matter coming to be heard on this 19th day of March, 1984 upon the
report of the Jefferson County Public Works Department and Jefferson County
Planning and Building Department with respect to the vacation set forth in a
"Petition for Vacation of a County Road" submitted by Ervin Kelly, and it
appeared to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners that a notice of the
hearing has been posted and published for the time and in the manner provided by
law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file herein, and said
board having the other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises,
does now find and determine that the public will be benefited by the vacation
thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED, that
all that portion of the Old Olympic Highway right-of-way, being thirty feet in
width, in Government Lot 2, Section 35, Township 26 North, Range 2 West, WM lying
easterly of the right-of-way line of State Road 101, then approximately 200 feet
northerly to the westerly boundary of Government Lot 1, Section 35, Township 26
North, Range 2 West, WM be vacated and abandoned pursuant to RCW 36.87.140.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the principle petitioner shall remit a
sum of not less than $371.25 to Jefferson County as compensation in addition to
any expenses incurred by the county for investigation, examination, publication,
and recording.
