RESOLUTION NO. 35-84
EMERGENCY SERVICES COMPENSATION BOARD ESTABLISHMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
established a Joint Emergency Services Organization persuant to
RCW 38.52.070; and
WHEREAS, the said Board feels that formal recognition
should be given to the Emergency Services Compensation Board
created by RCW 38.52.210 for the purpose of processing claims
authorized under the Washington Emergency Services Act; now,
therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of Jefferson
County Commissioners hereby recognizes the creation of an Emergency
Services Compensation Board to be composed of one member of the
Board of County Commissioners who will serve as the Chair of said
Board, the County Director of Emergency Services, the County Prose-
cuting Attorney, the Emergency Services Coordinator for medical and
health services, the Mayor of the City of Port Townsend, and the
County Auditor who will serve as secretary of the Compensation Board,
all as provided in accordance with RCW 38.52.220 through 38.52.50.
