RESOLUTION NO. 43-84
INTENT TO VACATE
PORTION OF THE WOODMAN TO KEYMES ROAD
WHEREAS, after due' consideration, it appears to this Board of County Commissioners
that it is not in the public interest to retain as county road riqht of way:
ALL THAT PORTION OF THE 50 FEET IN WIDTH BY APPROXIMATELY 2800 FEET IN
LENGTH RIGHT OF WAY OF THE WOODMAN TO KEYMES ROAD (A PORTION OF WHICH IS
KNOWN AS THE LOWER ADELMA BEACH ROAD NO.504809) FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF
TAX 33 IN SECTION 32, TWP 30N., RGE 1 W.W.M., THENCE SOUTH TO THE WESTERLY
RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF THE ADELMA BEACH ROAD NO. 502309, IN TAX 5, SECTION
5, TWP. 29N., RGE. 1 W.W.M.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the same is useless,
Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed to examine said
road and report his opinion as to whether this County Road right of way should be vacated
and abandoned; whether it will be advisable to perserve said right of way for the County
Road System in the future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandon-
ment, and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance to the Board;
and that such re ort be fil~d as soon as possible. The hearing date for the proposed
vacation -& . ~ / , at the hour of / / :OtJ /~, to be held in
the ambers, Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington.
